Sawtooth Ridge: Connects Mt. Bierstadt & Mt. Evans

Nothing can really beat a sunrise in the mountains. Much less one you get to watch from the very beginning of twilight, to the alpenglow of the sun kissing the ridge lines, to the bright sunny morning light, with birds chirping and just a little hint of dampness in the air. With the snow situation rapidly deteriorating, its been tempting to start the day hikes and peak baggin’ very early this year.

I went up to Mt. Bierstadt to check it out, and for the most part, it was essentially an early summer hike. A little snow, but nothing too crazy.
